Stay tuned for entertaining and /or motivation vids every single day this week. It's a week 'o fun!
Let's start with the fact that I. Am. on. Full. Freakout. Alert.
Someone asked me what do I have to be scared of since I've already done a tri? I dunno, how about this little scenario:
Tonight: Practice tiring changing skills!

Girlfriend - SNAP OUT OF IT!
And get a AAA card. That's one problem solved.
Next!
AAA? That's not a bad idea. Can I pay extra for roadside assistance during the tri?? We should bet to see who blows through the most CO2 cartridges before getting the tire properly inflated tonight!
Not motivating - TRY AGAIN!
everyone's a critic!
I had my first blow out and it was not as frightening as I thought it would be. I had changed a few tires on the ebay bike I bought so I wasn't worried until I realized I didn't have those CO2 things. So I hid the bike, hitched home, got in the car, rode back to the bike and changed the tire at home. Not a great plan for a tri but I'm just sayin.....
Where do you find this stuff?!!
Ahh the French. How do you say AAA in French?
You know - I totally missed the part about how you were going to practice changing a tire. Seriously. I was little unnerved by the ending of that thing. Those crazy Frenchies!
Keep practicing the tire changing AND just getting the wheel in and out of the frame. That is my downfall. The rear wheel, especially.
oh, too funny - that looked like me (minus the heels and suit) when I first had to change a tire - luckily I didn't meet my fate like she did.
I too need to practice the tire changing thing - I prefer Sandy's idea - but, guess it would be called CAA. plus, we could get some great cycling maps!
You silly lugnut.
