dooce, sxsw, austin 2008

Dooce chats with a few fans after her presentation, "Content Boundaries: A 12-Step Program," and also said she is writing a new book called, "It Sucked, and Then I Cried."

Well, yes. Who couldn't relate to that title?

Forgive me. Who is Dooce? I have never felt so outside the loop. Please, throw me a bone.

I don't care what that book is about or who wrote it, I have to have it for the title alone - imagine what people on the train would think!

Ya know, she was the first blogger I ever read regularly...before the runners, even. Like in 1966! LOL. Wow. But I don't read her anymore. I don't read anything but tech anymore. How sad. Hope you had fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Runner Susan is so jealous, I can sense it from here.

Dooce who? Did Doogie Howser finally grow up? What is SX? SW I get. Where ARE you? Where were you on Saturday in the rain? We had a workout, yeah. It was nice, I ran down a young'un just like in the olden days. Those were the days! So, you comin' to Jim Hage's lecture (first consecutive male double winner of the MCM, 1988 & 1989) at Fletchers on Saturday? He'll give you some tips on how to run the National Half-Marathon which you're running in less than THREE WEEKS now that you QUALIFIED for it. That is, if you're not too busy taking tire-changing courses to come to a free running seminar at Fletchers on March 15th at 9:50 A.M.

So jealous you're at SXSW. Lived in Texas for what 12 years, Austin three of those. One of my biggest regrets was never making SXSW -- and for Peter, that's South "By" SW. Enjoy the music...great stuff there. Some of my favorite artists ever headlined in years past. -A

does the lervely heather ever mention what her old work place thinks of the fame she now has?

i think my first read of her was the 'what to call the vagina/penis' question.

she was interviewed on radio national (ABC) australia. so some aussies know her.
