I'm In!

Philadelphia trialthlon

The Philadelphia Insurance (?) Triathlon, June 21, so I'm sorry, I can't come to your wedding that day.

How hard can an .8K swim, 24K bike, and 5K run possibly be??

After all, I have 47 months left to train.

A triathlon? I didn't realize you had crossed over to the dark side. ;-)

I knew tri's were not for me when I saw a woman running in her bathing suit! Have fun training.

Not that hard at all for an endurance legend such as yourself.
You WILL kick arse and take names, as I believe the expression is (my husband watches Ghost Whisperer, it's very imformative about US mores)

you just want to pee in a wetsuit.

Taking into consideration the fact that you'll be starting your tri at 6am and probably finishing by 8am you will still have time to come to my wedding.

Awesome! I just signed up for that one this weekend, so I'll be looking for you there.

Well...assuming I'm there in 47 months. :)

YES! Your math is a little fuzzy but your ambition is spot on.

This will be fun! So fun. Go Jeanne!

And like AJ, there is no chance at all you will my wedding. I'd need to actually go on a date first.

In the spirit of procrastination I just took a deep dive into the web site for that race and it looks FABULOUS! What a great choice. I wish I could come out and do the Olympic course because it would be so much fun. Alas, traveling that far and shipping a bike for an Oly is out of the question but if I lived closer I would be there. Excellent choice of a first race.
