Hardy har. FB & Twitter are fast alright. I didn't say good, but perfect for shallow and callow thoughts to be put out instantly and incessantly to the world. Your kids would have to be crazy to take you on as FB friends. My brother-in-law had a fit when I told him his son my nephew had as his profile pix a photo of him at a frat party in a slip. Oops! I shoulda kept my mouth shut! You know how it goes at those lonely small liberal arts colleges in WI during the dead of winter. When he went job hunting (with his philosophy degree!) he solved the problem his Dad was ranting about, employers finiding out what a fun person you are, by spelling his name gramatically on FB, thus effectively changing his name but leaving his pet picture still up. After going through his albums and those of his friends, I bought stock in Millers!

I hate when the buggers block me from receiving their updates. It happens from too much commenting ...

Oh that is priceless!!! I'm so stealing this and posting it to my Facebook profile and sending it to my kids!

ps - did Peter not get that this was joke? I can't tell.

pps - I'm Facecrack friends with both of my daughters who are smart enough to know you don't post anything you wouldn't want a prospective employer to find.

Late congrats for your hardwares and the broken 16 mph barrier.
About facebook, I deleted my profile after 1 day: it is too intrusive.

I am avoiding FB like the plague but actually asked my step daughter to remove me from her private blog readership so I wouldn't be tempted to try to run her life :-)

I'm not sure what is more funny: your post or the fact that Peter may have thought it was real.

Woah! It's the world's crappiest commenter back again! And in the meantime you've run/biked/swam races, won a medal-plaque thingy, handed out a prize to someone who NEEDED it and then posted this FABULOUS bit of onion news. Girl you are busy! Ok. I'm back onto it. Keep up your fabulous work on the bike / in the pool/ on the road and behind your desk finding us great little things like this. We need you in our lives!
