ahead?
I'm sick. Sore throat. Runny nose.
Except I absolutely REFUSE to be sick five days before Christmas. How am I supposed to sing Christmas carols at the top of my lungs in the car?? HOW??
To add insult to injury, my left ITB is acting up, I guess because it didn't get enough attention before. I am now relegated to the bike and the elliptical. And temps are forecasted to be in the 40s this weekend, right before they plunge to the 20s.
I am not a happy camper.

Maybe you can lipsynch the songs in the car and gesture wildly with your hands as though you were singing loudly. (oh, be sure to keep one hand on the wheel though!)
Feel better soon!!
oh but the bike... ya know, the bike has just been so much more fun than i thought it would.
and my legs/butt are looking divine (if i say so myself...and uh... i do!) as a result.
so mount that bike lady, and go at it! the cross-training will do you wonders (or so thats what i hear. i've yet to put it to the test!)
and feel better. i hear tequila kills those nasty sore throat germs in a heartbeat!
Susie: I LOVE to make you laugh! "Laugh and the world laughs with you..."
a. maria: What kind of bike are you on? Cuz mine ain't no fun at all!
Drink lots of Airborn, get lots of sleep and find a bike that you like. No more PT from Hell, though! No way. I will never live down the guilt of insisting you go to a PT because that one was whack!
Hope you feel better soon.
21c.: Airborn?? Gotta google that immediately...and...we only have one bike here at work, so that's that. I just gotta suck it up! And don't worry, I completely absolve you from the crazed PT from hell. Anyway, she got me thru the marathon!
Christmas is the best time for the miracles. You will feel better very soon, so you can sing and run as you never did before!!!! Happy Christmas!!!!
I always get sick just before Christmas - it is a running joke in our family. Turkey just wouldn't be the same without a sore throat.
It never fails. The holidays bring on all sorts of fun ailments.
Try the Airborne. I swear by it! It's good stuff.
Feel better...
Just think of all the new notes you would never be able to hit without the cold!!
Hope you're feeling better soon!!
You East Coast Belt people must live in a cave. No Airborne!?? It is an effervescant pill made of every holistic health cold remedy in the world. They have this ridculous Bartles and Jaymes marketing hype about how it was developed by a school teacher who was tired of always getting sick - oh fer shure, dude. It was probably developed by a team of PhD/MDs at Johnson and Johnson but the good news is - it works! I hope you can find some and I hope you feel better soon!
